Having relocated to Franklin from St. Louis, I know how tough it sometimes is to make friends in a new city. I have found meetup.com to be a very valuable tool for meeting new folks and attending tons of fun events! This group is a way to make new friends, exchange parenting advice/tips and explore the city. Some thoughts on activities include: playdates at parks, picnics, mommy nights out (or in), and taking advantage of free or cheap events in Franklin, Nashville, and Spring Hill.

This group is for Moms with children of ALL ages. Working or stay-at-home Moms are welcome. Although a group is always more fun when the participants are active, I am not requiring anyone to attend a certain number of meetups per month... if you feel the events are not meeting your needs, please post some ideas of fun things to do.... meetup.com's design allows for ANY group member to plan and host events. Also, this is a social group so please don't join solely to promote your direct sales business.
