Free: Volunteer at "Salsa in the Park" in the South End

Details
Salsa in the Park ( http://www.SalsaInThePark.org ) (SITP) is a wonderful event that takes place every Monday, rain or shine, through the end of August. Sponsored by Mayor Menino and the City of Boston, it is a program to promote public health and build community through the magic of dance.
But it takes a lot of work to make the event happen each week, so please volunteer your time to help do so.
Please contact Nathan to sign up: nsvelazquez@metamovements.net .
The schedule:
4:00-4:15pm - Meet your fellow volunteers and the SITP staff.
4:15-5:55pm - Train and set up for the dancing!
6:00-9:00pm - Attend the event, possibly man a table or dance with people looking for a partner.
9:00-9:30pm - Break down and clean up.
Please note that helping with this event has its perks! As part of the event, there is a free Salsa lesson from 6:00-6:30pm, and another from 7:15-7:45pm. Volunteers are encouraged to participate in these lessons!
Also, if we finish setting up early enough, the MetaMovents (http://www.metamovements.com/) dance staff (led by the fearless Anara and Nathan!) often give us volunteers yet another lesson before showtime at 6!
So please help out in this worthy (and clearly worthwhile) cause!
If you cannot volunteer for the whole 4:00-9:30 shift, please post below what block of time you can volunteer. Otherwise, please show up at 4pm. And please do contact Nathan to sign up: nsvelazquez@metamovements.net and let him know when you're volunteering.
And, as always, please keep your RSVP up to date. This is a volunteerism event, so I will be keeping an eye out for no-shows.
Thanks for helping out!
