Kettlebell Classes for beginners! 1:00 - 2:00pm

Would you like to learn how to burn 300 kCal in only 15 min?


• Kettlebells Re-Activated!    Let's see who's up for a few swings (NOT for wingers, whiners, moaners, softies and No crying for mamma)  :)


If you're looking for something "new" that would add some spice to your training regime, or would like to kick started your fitness journey with something special, something that is tested and proven, or maybe, you've seen these strangely looking canon-like balls with a handle somewhere and was wondering what to do with them and how to use them at all... then, we may have something for you!

We'd like to introduce 45 - maybe 60 min kettlebell classes for beginners (or improvers looking for extra expert tuition).

IMPORTANT - this is a GROUP session, this is NOT an individual Physiotherapy or rehabilitation session. Hence, frozen shoulders, really bad knees, really bad lower backs will not cut it here. The session is safe and exercise is very likely to help, HOWEVER, I won't be able to customise it for you - not in a beginners group setting.
We'll run them at 1 pm on Saturday in Paddington Recreation Ground (west London, Maida Vale, W9)

What are Kettlebells?
Kettlebells have been around for centuries. You may call them grandparents of modern dumbbells, you see in all our local gyms.
The difference is, these are much tougher to use, much more difficult to handle, and the absolute bonus is, if you learn how to train with them, you'll get really fit and strong, really fast + they are much more fun!

Because a kettlebell lift execution is more subtle than traditional weight training exercises, it takes a lot of coordination and body awareness to perfect these exercises. A single exercise consists of multiple joints and muscle groups moving simultaneously, often in ways that are new and unfamiliar to most people.

The added benefit of training with kettlebells is that you burn hell lot of energy - you can burn as much calories as a 180lbs (81 kg) person when running 6.5 min mile.

So, you can have a benefit of burning a lot of calories without even lifting your foot! :)


Our class is open to anybody with some more than basic coordination and ideally, being able to squat and lunge correctly with no pain in their knees.

Level of strength is not really relevant, as we can always adjust the size of the kettlebells you'd use (we have the wide range of kettlebells starting from 4kgs + )
And, we will supply all the equipment!

The focus of our session will be on teaching you the fundamentals of safe kettlebell training and most of the basic movements and some of their variations.


Having learned some basic exercise, we'll try to put all of them together in a effective, fat melting and ass busting routine.

We'll conclude with some stretches before we proceed with our weekend.


Price - this is a test run of this format (we normally do not offer this training outside of our regular group members) and we want to see what the general public response is and whether you'll be interested in it at all.


Hence, for the time being our Kettlebell classes are FREE, no charge, totally on me.


If you want to take part, you need to RSVP pronto, as there is a limited number of places only. I can accept 12 beginner trainees at one time - Maximum.


We'll need to make some "selection" to ensure that we have all the right size of equipment for you (if I have 12 very strong guys, we may not have enough big kettlebells for you, you understand what I'm saying?).


Even though you RSVP your attendance now, this does not guarantee your spot - we'll confirm everybody as soon as we can. In a way, first come first serve, OK?

Please, PLEASE, if you confirm your attendance here, DO COME! We are keeping your spot and your piece of equipment for you. So if you do not, you could be taking somebody else's, who really wants to come, place.


Also, bring a bottle of water with you, and *important*, come on time. If you come late, you won't be able to take part - NO exceptions! (I'll have a set number of pieces of equipment for you and you need to be early to take start with us.
