Looking to get a ride together in the Spring for the; Wimberley - Blanco - Luckenbach - Fredericksburg Loop; better known as Devil's Backbone.

This would be a weekend ride, Friday, Saturday & Sunday. Ride or haul your bike to Wimberley on Friday, make the loop ride on Saturday and head home on Sunday. Just a gage for distance, from my home in Friendswood to Wimberley is about 215 miles.

The ride is 3-4 hours ride time, about 122 miles of awesome Hill Country scenery! Mid ride we’ll hit Fredericksburg, stopping for lunch. There’s a great grill there, Buc's Bar and Grill or we can go to Charlie's Grill & BBQ. After lunch we’ll head back for the second part of the ride and more great scenery!

There are three different Campground/RV Parks in Wimberley and several hotels. We could have a big cookout Saturday evening after the ride! Make it a family event and have a weekend getaway! This would be a great ride to share with friends!

"One of Texas most scenic drives, officially R.M. 32, the "Devil's Backbone" is a winding, razor-backed ridge overlooking Hill Country vistas. Extends from R.R. 12 just south of Wimberley, west some 24 miles to near Blanco." - Open Road Journey.com

This campground offers a LOT and is not far from the "loop" we are planning to ride. Just means more ride time for us! Everyone is in agreement, we will stay here.
