2012 We TRI 4 Food - Family Health and Fitness Day and Triathlon/Duathon/Fun Run

A limited number of tech shirts will be given away and t shirts are guaranteed for registrations made on or before August 6th.

Three events are taking place, the two triathlons and the 5K family fun run. The kids/adult duathlons and Great Amazing Race are on hold.

Freedom Racers, northeast Ohio's newest triathlon and multiport club is hosting the 1st Annual "We TRI 4 Food" event and Family Fitness day at Lake Medina, Medina, OH. Lake Medina does not allow swimming normally, but for our cause they are allowing us permission to swim the beautiful waters of Lake Medina. The biking will take you from Medina through to scenic Memorial Park in Wadsworth, OH, and the run will take you through historic streets in Medina, OH. A portion of net proceeds from the event will be benefitting local food banks. Get your family involved for part or all of the day. Various health and fitness related booths will be set up that day to help you in your journey toward whole family health and fitness. If you have never participated in a triathlon, this is the event for you. In addition, the Kids duathon and The Great Amazing Race are excellent ways to get the whole family involved.
