What kind(s) of photography are you interested in? Do you make money with photography or want to? To be a pro, you have to have over half of your income from photography.

I used to be a commercial photographer - yeah, a pro, but now I am just using my little digital cameras to record things, including the fish I catch from my kayaks.

Please list or give a general idea of equipment that you own and use including cameras, lighting, etc.

My digital cameras are a Nikon Coolpix L105, a GoPro H2 and a Fuji FinePix XP20. None of those have much in the way of dynamic range so are quite limited to snapshots. However, I still have a number of film cameras from 35mm to 4 X 5 including a few Nikonos underwater cameras. I still have some studio flash stuff and my light box, umbrellas, and who knows what else stored somewhere.

If you have any, please list equipment you might let others in the club use on organized Meetups.

If I can locate them, I have some studio lights around somewhere that could be taken out for everybody to use.

What would you like to expect from this Meetup club and are you able to help (especially with new or want-to-be photographers)?

I am very interested in passing on what I know and I enjoy helping and introducing people to photography. Some of you could help me learn how to use Photoshop.

Do you have, or have access to, a photo studio? If so, how about a description.

Not really. It has been a long time.

I am a retired commercial photographer. Among other things, I did aerial photography, shot for ad agencies, taught underwater photography and also gave presentations to schools and photo clubs. I spend most of my leisure time kayak fishing now.

What David A. is saying about this Meetup Group

It is a great group of people willing to share knowledge and help each other to become better photographers.
