Freeside Braniacs - Fun with Neuroscience and Brain-Computer Interfaces

Got brains? Interested in brains? Join us! We're a group of scientists and laymen who meet on the last Sunday of every month. We plan on discussing current research and techniques in neuroscience, learning more in depth about topics our members are interested in, and working with brain-computer interfaces.

Our first meeting will be on Sunday, September 29th and we plan to figure out what areas our members are interested in, listen to a few quick talks, and brainstorm uses and projects for our BCI.

For our first talk, Karen and Steven, our event hosts, will give a talk about some of the hardware and software that is available to play with, what is possible, and some ideas for project that we can try moving forward.

You'd be surprised at how much of this equipment we already have access to at Freeside...

Directions to the space for first-timers are here -

It's still the last Sunday, so it'll be the 27th of October. I'm setting up the meetup now.

I'm a CS student at KSU. I'm planning to become a researcher in neuroscience, BMI, and artificial intelligence. Looking forward to see you all!
