  • Got brains? Interested in brains? Join us! We're a group of scientists and laymen who meet on one Sunday a month. We plan on discussing current research and techniques in neuroscience, learning more in depth about topics our members are interested in, and working with brain-computer interfaces.

You can join our Google group here.

I regret to say that I cannot attend. I just got back in town midnight last night, and I have a whole lot to do to get ready for work on Monday.

I am a neurodiverse professional, whose mind goes about 9,000 miles per hour, has several different interests, gets bored very easily - so I thrive in jobs that allow me to constantly change gears or what I need to focus on. I am a non linear thinker, someone who thinks outside of the box, thrive on creativity and solving problems that linear thinkers are unable to tackle. So don't put me in a box at work with limited things to do. Put me in situations that require lots of multi-tasking, allow me to easily switch gears and focus on many different things at any given moment and troubleshoot unforseen problems as they arise. Sure it might sound nervewracking, but this is where I thrive and excel.

Very cool! Either Freeside is the perfect place for you... or it will drive you totally mad. Either way, we'll have fun along the way. Looking forward to it!

My name is Judd Asbill and I am traumatic brain injury survivor. When I was 6 years old, I fell off of a 25 foot sea wall, landing head first on huge boulders. I was in a coma for a month and had to relearn everything - walk, talk, you name it. Luckily, thanks be to God, I was able to overcome that and so much more.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
