Sarah is a proven international speaker who thinks big. Her work is the only one of its kind, and has caught the attention of several international conferences as well as some ivy-league universities where she is planning to begin her Ph.D. next fall. This short print-to-order book will be available for electronic purchase at the store, and will be mailed directly to you after the event. Join us on Thursday evening as Sarah discusses her unique vision of a sustainable fashion industry in Toronto and shares her tips that will be sure to green-up your clothing label or shopping practices. Paper People Clothing was founded by Jennifer Fukushima in 2001. Initially designing handbags and accessories made from reclaimed materials, Fukushima had the vision of a full clothing brand. During her studies in fashion design at Ryerson University, Fukushima phased out handbags and moved into designing apparel.
