Thursday night hike - Fort Snelling

Looking to stretch your legs, maybe carry a pack, and see wildlife along the Mississippi and Minnesota Rivers? Join us on a hike around Pike Island at Fort Snelling State Park. This time focus is on camping head lamps. During a break I will be showing several headlamps and discussing pros and cons. Find out which one is right for you and your trip this summer. Distance 3 + miles, duration little less than two hours. Bring hiking shoes, quart of water, snack, and clothing appropriate for weather.
