A North Berkeley Hills & Campus Hike has been scheduled in place of this hike. (See Post below and Info on the N.Berkeley hike scheduled in place of this hike, March 29.)
Mt.Tam's most beautiful groups of spring wildflowers; poppies, gold fields and lupine, will line the scenic trails and serpentinite of today's hike.
At lunch we'll "dine", overlooking the Pacific, Farallons, Bolinas and Stinson Beach. Expect clear skies or fog, spectacular and dramatic views, lots of wildflowers in bloom, aerobics, as we do some steep uphills and lots of good company.
Distance for today's moderately paced hike will be about 7.75 miles. Return time will be before 2:15pm.
Today's trails will wander among the wildflowers and out to the Coastal Trail and the scenic trails overlooking the Pacific.
Veteran hiker Jordan Herrmann will be leading the hike today.
Rain will not cancel.
