Sunset, Shooting Stars and Moonrise

Friday, October 21, 5:00pm to Saturday October 22, 'til 12:30am

Meet Dave Self, ACR Resource Ecologist, at 10,000 Pine Flat Road about 25 minutes up Pine Flat Rd from Hwy 128 at Jimtown.

Join me for Sunset (bring lawn or lounge-chair and blankets), and stay for the Orionids Meteor Shower, and midnight moon rise over the Mayacamas. Please bring your telescope! If skies are clear, it should be a good show with estimates of 20 visible meteors per hour. No hiking is involved in this event.
