To the Top of Both Ridges with Bruce Wagner

We’ll take a 3.5 mile stroll reaching both ridgetops and enjoying how different the terrain is and how different Wissahickon Creek looks from either side. Come enjoy a comprehensive experience of the Wissahickon Gorge. We will take a leisurely pace, and our paths are sometimes rocky trails up and down hills, but not terribly arduous. Children, accompanied by a responsible adult, are welcome so long as they can manage themselves, the trails, the hills, and needs of other walkers. We’ll plan for around 3 hours. Registration is required so that you can be informed of weather or other emergency cancellations. Walks are cancelled in heavy rain or thunderstorms. Unless otherwise specified Trail Ambassador hikes use rocky, rugged trails that may be wet and slippery. Please wear sturdy shoes or boots with socks. Long pants are recommended for protection against occasional poison ivy and possible ticks. Bring water and a snack if desired.
