CANCELLED Picnic and Gift Circle

We'll be meeting again for the 2nd Gift Circle so far. The first one in May was good fun and some great connections were made. So we're continuing with this simple yet profound community building practice that helps shift our mindsets towards a more human-connected culture.

We'll combine it with a Picnic on Parliament Hill, Hampstead Heath. Bring some food & drink to share!

For the Gift Circle everyone sits in a circle, and takes turns saying one or two needs they have (service, resource, object, help etc).

Then we offer something we can give...

Expressing our needs and desires feels vulnerable as does receiving help from others. But this is all part of the empowerment process. When we're authentic and ask others directly what we need or what we can give true bonds of connection are created. We then share ideas of who we might know, who wants to exchange gifts and how we can help others to get their needs met.
