As always, thanks to those who made it to the last meeting. Peter did a presentation on Mindfulness, which we all learned from and chatted about afterward. Thanks again to Peter for making it and including several handouts to read later and learn more about it.
Our next meeting covers a subject we did last Fall that we think is very pertinent to all of us. Too often,we are reminded of our shortcomings as people with ADD and ADHD by those around us, including relatives and people who simply don't understand how we move through the world. However, there are many things about folks with ADD and ADHD that are positive and, actually, very creative, stimulating, empowering, and many other positive assets.
So, our next meeting returns to the subject of what we feel are our greatest assets and attributes...those things in our lives that make us feel worthwhile but also which make us more personally powerful to ourselves, those things which enrich our lives.
If you missed the last time we talked about Personal Assets and Attributes, please come to the next meeting. I am sure we will all learn something about each other but, even more, things about ourselves that we really never thought about ourselves that are very positive!
[color=red]We always welcome anyone who has a pressing issue and are here to help in whatever way we can. We will do our very best to make time to do whatever we can for members who need support!
The meeting will be at the usual place (address is above) and will begin promptly at 7pm. The inner doors at the building automatically lock at 7 but if for some reason you are late, give Sam a call on his cell phone (see number below). We encourage folks who may be late due to work or anything that may delay them; please don't think that being late should deter you from attending.
Hope to see you there!
Sam and Tracy
Sam's cell is[masked]; if you happen to call before the meeting about anything and I don't answer, please leave a message and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
