What's New in AngularJS 1.3?

Angular 1.3 shipped just a few months ago with a ton of improvements, including better performance, material design, aria support and more. The Angular ecosystem is also getting better, much better, with some amazing libraries and tools coming to the fore.

New Features in AngularJS 1.3

Nir Noy is a consultant at Sela Group, specializing in Web, Server, and JavaScript. He has a lot of experience in developing web applications with asp.net but is now more focused on Single Page Applications and NodeJS.

Nir will talk about the newest features in AngularJS 1.3, focusing especially on improved performance and migrating from 1.2 to 1.3. He will also cover additional new features, such as the simplified forms, the new accessibility module ngAria, and more.

Up and Coming in the Angular Ecosystem

Vadim Tomnikov is a development architect at SAP. He is also an AngularJS contributor and evangelist, a MEAN stack enthusiast and an established user on StackOverflow.

Vadim will show us some of the most interesting things happening in the Angular ecosystem, including libraries and tools that you probably want to adopt in your own projects. He’s going to show us Angular Material, LumX, Angular Translate, Angular UI, Onsen UI, AngularFire and a few other gems if time allows.

Location and Parking

SAP Raanana is hosting us this month. There are a number of paid (though not expensive) parking lots in the area, including a large nearby public parking lot.
