Summer is here and so are those nice warm evenings. Let's try something new! There are several places around Denver that will be fun to shoot. We also should be to meet each other and let's face it, when we go to shoot we don't socialize!
So at 6:30 let's meet at various inexpensive places to eat, grab a bite, introduce ourselves and then go to the location.
Here's the plan:
Tuesday Evening, July 24
6:30 Start off our evening of entertainment by dining at the never dull, Sam's No. 3, 1500 Curtis Street, Denver (1 block from the Denver Center for Performing Arts) If possible I will opt for outdoor seating on the patio. Ask the hostess for the location of the FRP Meetup group if you don't recognize our group on the patio! http://samsno3.com
7:30ish we will gather the group and walk to the DCPA to shoot whatever intrigues us. The "Dancers" are a popular subject and look different as the light changes through the evening. I've caught them from a variety of perspectives. We can also capture some Human Landscape as we head toward the Colorado Convention Center. The Big Blue Bear and RTD Light Rail make good cityscape images. We will only be limited by our imaginations.
D3 events are not LONG night events, come grab a bite to eat, socialize, click a few cool shots and go home with the satisfaction of having a fun, creative day!
Please RSVP if you plan to come. If life gets in the way and you can't make it, remember to take a moment and change your RSVP. Depending upon the size of the group, I will try to arrange for us to be seated on the sidewalk. Hope to see you there!
