I grew up with a camera in my hands. I do not remember the first photos that I took. I started out using my fathers Kodak that he brought back from Germany during the Korean war. As I grew older I had darkrooms in most places that I lived. I put the camera away for several years until I finally accepted the fact that digital was not going away and purchased a Nikon D70. Later I was asked to make a trip to Nepal and document a surgical team that was there to help the women of Nepal with medical conditions due to their life style. After that trip I was hooked again and started working professionally mostly editorial and commercial work.
I am currently using a Nikon D90, assorted Nikkor lenses, SB900 and SB 910 flash units, Pocket Wizard, Bogan tripod, Manfrotto stands, Bowens monolights, softlight boxes, and umbrellas, several Lowe bags, Chimera light boxes, Westcott umbrellas, 13 inch MacBook Pro and a 27 inch iMac.
Make some new friends, hang out with some great photographers, and gain some fresh knowledge and new concepts while pushing my comfort zone to new limits.
I have lived in Colorado since 1983. I was born and raised in TX and decided to move to Colorado after Skiing and vacationing here for a couple years. I enjoy most outdoor activities that Colorado has to offer.
