Jquery vs React vs Angular

This time in Frontend Malaga we are going to have 2 different talks a long one, Jquery vs React vs Angular and a short one, Design in Developers eyes.

We will also try to organise the networking in the same office of the even and have some free drinks over there.

So, you want to a dynamic web application, right?

Sure, no problem, but, what tools are you going to use? Jquery? React? Angular? Why? Are you and your colleagues going to be able to work out all the details?

In this talk we will compare the differences between Jquery, React and Angular to develop a small feature in a simple web application and will explain their main philosophy.

We will see the different kind of necessary compromises that are needed when using each of the frameworks and the pros and cons derived from them.

Finally we will talk about which are the scenarios in which one or other tool is more advisable.

Please bear in mind that just starting with these tools can take several weeks, so the goal of the talk isn't to give a full overview on them but rather let you know where are you getting in.

The talk will be given by Rafa Latorre Frontend lead and UX chief of Tolq.com who has been developing rich JS applications with Angular, React, Knockout, Spine and Jquery for the last 5 years.
