Since I will not be hosting a NY Eve party, I wanted to make sure that I made it up to you. So how am I going to do this? Gonna pull out my sombrero, and meet you all at Tilde!

Tilde is shutting down for one evening for the bestest, most amazing, coolest, raddest, kick-ass....etc....etc.....group of peeps..MY PEEPS for a killer FIESTA!

We will be feasting on tacos, nachos, churros, guacamole and more!!!

AND

All pints will be dropped to $5! Wines are $1/oz and cocktails will be dropped to $8

Food: Tacos, nachos, churros, guacamole, tostadas and more!

Drinks: The prices were dropped for every drink and a FREE shot when you check-in! Don't like alcohol? I'll get you a shot of your favorite pop. :)

You must check-in to Yelp, show the designated person your check-in on your phone, and you will be given a ticket. You don't show your check-in, then you don't get your ticket for your shot!

Age: 19+ (must be of legal drinking age....boo hoo)

Theme: MEXICAN!! Cliche, but WHATEVS! It's my PARTYYYY!!! And I have a sombrero that I have been dying to wear. ;) hehehe

Cost: $26.50 (+ 2 admin fee collected at the door) or $28 + $2 (admin fee) cash at the door. Don't worry, you are getting $30+ worth of food and the restaurant is absorbing the tax and tip. So, either way you pay, you are getting at least a $10+ saving.

The total without the deal is:

Food (before taxes and tip): $28.00

Tax: $3.64

Tip (18% for group over 8): $5.04

Total: $36.68

  • Beers will be discounted from $7.50 to 5! Cocktails from $9.50 to 8!
  • Free shot if you check-in: $4+ value

More on the admin fee (I know most of you know this already, and I apologize for having to explain it so often--but this question is often asked): As you all know, there is an administrative fee for all events. The additional $2 goes towards the Meetup fees that I have to pay for running this group (I am charged by Meetup for running this group). I don't charge for the hours of work and effort it takes for me to run this group. So far making you all happy has been enough for me to volunteer my time. :)

Those that pay in advance can get in at 6:45PM and there will be a special line. Those that will be paying cash will have to line-up at 7PM.

OMG Itanni, my mom would love to come! Can I bring her? YES! For this event guests are allowed!

And everyone knows that when I negotiate these events I make sure that the food will be AMAAAZZZING! That you are all getting a SPECIAL DEAL (we are a budget group after all---and I am a pain and demand a DISCOUNT!), & more importantly.....that you all leave with a FULL BELLY!!!! Hell yeah!

So.....if you can, PLEASE pay online. This is going to be our biggest event YET! And cash at the door is very difficult on my end logistically-wise. Don't forget that I make 0 money from these events. I do it for you all because I truly love making people happy.

So why does it cost more at the door? Because I have to pay for security and for someone to take the cash!

I will not be able to check this message board for the next couple of weeks as I regularly would, so I will try to address some of the common questions now:

  1. I will offer a PayPal refund if you cancel within 48 hours. Past 48 hours and please do not ask for one. The restaurant by that point would have purchased everything for the dinner with the assumption that you will be there.
  2. This is not a tasting event. I hate those! You will be full! Read about my past events if you do not believe. ;)
  3. There will be games and prizes! Plus more!
