Patrick Laverty is a Security Response Engineer at Akamai Technologies in Cambridge, MA. He is responsible for helping to protect some of the largest companies in the world, in all sectors. His main focus is on web application security. He has been the chapter leader of OWASP Rhode Island for more than three years and organized the first Security BSides Rhode Island conference. In his free time, he's trying to learn a nasty slap shot for his men's league hockey team. @plaverty9
