There doesn't seem to be any specific meetup group that fits what I'm really looking for on here. I'm in my mid 30's and SO not into the bar/club scene. I love board games (U.S.) and pop-culture trivia so I thought I'd start my own group to host @ game night in my home. There's no need to try to find a place to rent, figure out availability, costs, food/drinks, parking, etc.

We could get together once a month or so, play games ranging from interactive and/or DVD Trivia/Pop Culture games (Scene It, Catch Phrase) to (and let's not forget) our favorite classic board games (Monopoly, Apples to Apples, Scattergories) and maybe more.

Additionally, perhaps this group gets together for dinner parties, brunches, walks, who knows - let's do this thing my way... err uh... I mean OUR way, yeah!!

 

IMPORTANT INFO:

 - Please bring a small appetizer to share and note this is a BYOB event. I have no pets, so if your allergic have no worries :)

 - I have the following games: Scene It DVD-Trivia games (Movies, Music, Comedy), Scattergories, Catch Phrase, Taboo, Monopoly/Pay Day, 80's Trivial Pursuit, Reel Clues (Movie Trivia), Hedbanz (just tried it out so fun).

- Might need someone to bring an extra couple of chairs/floor cushions. Please let me know if you are able to do so. MUCH Appreciated.
