Fun, Frugal, Females.............

Are you committed to a relationship but find yourself looking for something to do during a given afternoon or evening???? Maybe you are an empty nester or soon to be one??? Perhaps you are looking for a group that likes the word inexpensive? You do not like staying home, but going to lunch every week is taking a toll out of your budget. Well you may have found what you are looking for. It can be quite a challenge to keep up the social life without spending mucho bucks. My objective: Is to find a group of women who think making new friendships is more important than how much money you spend. Once this group has formulated and is successful in our mission we will close it to new members. This way we will become a close knit group of friends who will not hesitate calling one another when one of us is in a pinch or maybe just wants to grab a cup of coffee and talk the afternoon away. We will go places, but not far and by no means anything that will be cost prohibitive. A leisurely picnic at a local park, playing mini-golf, an inexpensive movie, and house parties are all possibilities. And of course, when you have an idea it’s yours to share.

We do have some rules, but they are quite simple & should not prohibit your enjoyment of our group.

1. Though not all our activities will take place in these cities: I hope you will meet us in McHenry, Crystal Lake and / or Woodstock

2. We do ask each member to host an event once every 12-18 months. Nothing fancy is expected; if you know where we can have a cup of coffee & chat; you have what it takes to be our next hostess!

3. You need to remain an active member (our mission is to get to know one another in person)

4. For the safety of our members: one of our members needs to meet you (a quick cup of coffee will do) before attending a house party or you may supply me with your address & I’ll be happy to provide directions to my home.

5. Be talkative! We want to get to know you even before we meet you! Use the message board & the idea option often………I only began this site, but it is yours to share.

 ***6. There is a $10 Annual fee ( to be paid within 30 days of joining or your 1st event, whichever comes first )

7. Gals……..please leave the “drama” at home. Let us be courteous and kind to one another and most of all have fun!
