Dolcetto d'Alba (Piedmont region) Italian red wine party

Details

This is an high class wine from Langhe, in the Italian region of Piedmont, one of the best in the world for the production of red wines (Barolo, Barbaresco...). To make it, local"Dolcetto" grapes are used. Despite its name, it is a dry red wine. It is called so because those grapes have a sweet taste. It is very pleasant to drink, with medium acidity, a bitter aftertaste, a beautiful rubin red color with purple nuances and a fruity aroma.

We'll make a compared real tasting of two different bottles of Dolcetto d'Alba, analizing color, perfumes and taste. About food we'll have some meat based dishes. Wine will be nomihoudai (a buffet). It will be also an occasion to talk in English, Italian and Japanese, meeting new interesting people. I'm looking forward, and you?

(price is 3,500 yen a person)
