An evening with our own Artemis, the America's Cup

The City of Alameda’s America’s Cup Committee is hosting a special evening with Artemis Racing, Thursday night, Feb. 28, at the Alameda Theater.

Free tickets for the event are available now through the Alameda Theater Box Office, 2317 Central Ave., Alameda. Seating is limited.

The event starts at 6 p.m., with doors opening at 5:00 p.m.;  the first 100 guests to arrive will receive a free Artemis Racing poster.

The one-hour program will include a presentation about Artemis Racing followed by a question and answer session with CEO Paul Cayard and other members of the Artemis Racing team.

Artemis Racing is the Challenger of Record for the 34th America’s Cup. The team represents the Royal Swedish Yacht Club (KSSS) and is based at Alameda Point.

The doors open at 5, with the presentation from 6-7.
Admission with a raffle is FREE, but get your tickets in advance.

I will be at Alameda Wine Co until 5:30PM.

After the show we could meet at Alameda Vitner's club and talk about what we learned.

I learned alot about the history of the America's cup and how it works. It was a great presentation on the Artemis and what is involved.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
