We're at GSMA Intelligence (https://gsmaintelligence.com/) to see how they're using functional approaches and Scala.
The schedule is:

• From 7pm there will be a short introduction to GSMA/GSMA Intelligence from Will Croft
• Carel Vosloo, Chief Architect, will talk on Using Scala and Functional approaches within GSMA Intelligence.
• Richard Dallaway, Underscore Consulting, will show What We Find when Reviewing Scala Code. Looking at commercial code we've seen six broad patterns where new teams are suffering. We'll take a look at a few of them, via code examples, and hopefully help new teams plan around trouble.
