Weekly Linux sessions

Weekly meeting with no scheduled topic. These meets will be informal and focused on using Linux. Administration, networking, programming, daily use, anything goes!

Bring a laptop and show a project or start something new!

The meeting will be in the upstairs section as long as there are more than 15 RSVP's.

    Mohammad, Fedora needs a /boot partition outside of LVM to boot. That's a primary boot partition as /boot about 200 megs, along with an LVM partition like we did last week. That's given the /boot partition doesn't pass the 1024-cylinder limit, the BIOS can't read files after that point.

    Hopefully I can get my stuff together and get back to being involved in the group! I am working more and more with debian and freebsd over the other flavors but am still on the hunt for the "perfect mix" for my laptop/gui environment.
