Stroppel Cane demo by Ernie Hendrix.

Ernie will demostrate the Stroppel Cane of recent popularity which is a great method of using up scrap clay and cane pieces. Explore & experiment on different ways to make beautiful creations from what you previously just thought of a scrapes of clay.

Tools: Pasta machine w/handle and clamp(s). Work surface, Roller or brayer, Sharp blade, index card or ceramic tile for baking. Optional: Cutters to make finished pieces (circles, squares, etc.) for jewelry

Supplies: Black clay (1 block, any brand). Cane scraps, cane ends, old canes and/or bits and pieces of scrap clay in many different colors. Optional: other colors of clay for base of cane.
