Gay Atheists of Washington, D.C. (GAWD) is part of Beltway Atheists. It is intended to serve primarily as a social gathering point for gay and lesbian atheists and their friends in the atheist community of the Washington, D.C. area. The group is intended to meet the needs of gay men and lesbian women in the atheist community, but sympathetic freethinkers, regardless of sexual preference or identity, are welcome to join. Happy hours and other social events will be scheduled as we hear from you. Please send us your suggestions for programs and activities.
