Pangbourne To Henley Hike

Details
Now that the evenings are getting lighter we can start doing some slightly longer hikes. For our first hike of the Spring we'll be following an 11 mile route between the old fashioned riverside towns of Pangbourne & Henley on Thames. Lots of people walk along the Thames between the two towns but we're going to follow a much more interesting and scenic route across country.
Near the start of the route we'll walk past a large llama farm with hundreds of llamas.

After that we've got a variety of woodland, farmland and small villages before we stop for a picnic lunch in the middle of the hike. A couple of miles after our lunch stop we'll stop in a pub for a toilet break and a quick drink. After this it's a mainly downhill walk into Henley where we'll finish at a riverside pub for some well earned food and a drink or two.
