TEDxChandler City 2.0

Details
The City of Chandler and Gangplank are hoping to spark ideas and conversation with a TEDCity 2.0 viewing party this month.
TED is an international organization dedicated to sharing innovative ideas across the globe through its lecture series and online content. TED is hosting TEDCity2.0, a day-long event for urban innovators, organizers, stewards and builders, with live speakers, global conversations and activities.
The event is being live-streamed for free to various viewing locations around the world, where like-minded individuals can gather to envision the cities of our future and share big ideas about collaborative action and sustainable solutions.
“We think it’s a great idea to expose our community to creative ideas from around the country and the world for solving our common challenges, and ideally, connect people with similar interests who hopefully will generate great ideas and action,” said Teri Killgore, Downtown Redevelopment Manager.
Chandler’s viewing party will be in the City Council Chambers, 88 E. Chicago St.
TEDCity 2.0 is divided into four separate sessions, and the public is invited to attend all or only one of them. The sessions include, Redefining Citizen, Reinventing Urban Experience, Reimagining the City and Redrawing Geographies. See the attached schedule, or go online to http://www.ted.com/pages/attend_tedcity2 for a complete listing.
The event is free and open to the public, but registration is required, as attendance is limited to 100 people.
