Fundamental parallel programming techniques for GPUs

Alex Patriciu will present some fundamental parallel programming techniques relevant to GPU implementations. He will illustrate the parallel programming techniques using the 2D image convolution example and will introduce some performance measures and present convolution execution timings retrieved from several hardware platforms.
