Image processing for medical imaging, networking utilities such as hashing algorithms and encryption/decryption algorithms, simulation and 3d games.
I have basic knowledge in heterogeneous programming particularly with CUDA(NVidia). My knowledge is expanding but right now I could: detect where the "hotspots" are in a serial application, identify where to parallelize, program kernels (device side functions), and apply different techniques to further optimize a code.
