Please note that for the time being you must be fully vaccinated to participate in this group.

Meet other local snowboarders and find new friends to board the slopes with. We'll rip up the local hills and also try to do a few out of province trips. <br> <br> All skill levels are welcome to join us (we were all beginners once !) ... and we'll even let you skiers tag along too ! But you should know that we will make fun of you ! .... and we expect a tow from you on those damn flats.

Typical daytrips include everyone from beginners to park riders and experts.

Everyone is required to answer all the questions asked when signing up for a daytrip. The questions will pop up after you confirm your RSVP answer. I need this info to plan carpooling and assign rides. If you do not answer the questions then your RSVP will be removed. Please RSVP from a computer to ensure the question come up.

Rides will be allocated based on those who have RSVPed AND have answered all the questions. The rides will be based in the order in which people have signed up and answered all the questions.

We always need more drivers. Drivers do not pay for gas since they are supplying cars. Gas cost is $15-20 per passenger depending on the destination

This is the one of the only groups that will arrange rides for you. With all other groups you have to find your own rides which means drivers get swamped with requests and passengers have to e-mail a bunch of drivers to find a ride.

Please note that this is a group for adults only so you must be 18 years of age or older to join and particpate. Please note that due to the proliferation of fake spam profiles organizer approval is now required to join the group please make sure that you have a clear face picture as your profile picture.

I've split off the snowboarding portion from the Beach Volleyball group where we were previously combined. That way each group can focus on members who are only interested in one of our core activities.

If RSVP is changed 5 days or more before the event, gas fees only will be credited for a future event (late bailouts of less than 5 days for any reason will require that gas share $ still be paid to the driver)

Plan on leaving the city around 7:30 am to arrive at the hills at approx 9am. Wrapping up usually around 4:30 pm. We usually stop afterwards for drinks and/or dinner.

Members who want a ride should expect to have to get to a pick up location (usually a subway station or location along Hwy 400 or 401). Drivers who live outside of the city must be willing to go to a subway station if required if they want passengers.

All passengers will pay for gas share $20 and everyone is responsible for their own lift ticket + $3 meetup fee.

Car pooling will be arranged. Please indicate if you can drive or if you need a ride by answering the RSVP questions. If you do not indicate that you need a ride, I will not know to arrange one for you. Rides will be allocated based on your response order so those that confirm attendance and indicate they need a ride first will be allocated space first

Answers to the questions are required for me to organize carpooling. This is mandatory.

You must answer yes or no to dinner. Requests not to stay for dinner will be accommodated only if there are drivers leaving early. If you can't stay late then you should contact me to confirm first otherwise, you may have to stay if your driver is staying. If a driver does not want to stay for dinner, they will not be assigned passengers unless there are passengers who do not want to stay.
