Got way too much stuff, way to much to do and not enough time to do it in? The goal of these meetings is to exchange experiences, methodologies, tools, etc. that will enable all participants to become more efficient and productive in their business and personal lives.
You may have found this meetup through a related topic like time management, procrastination, clutter, business and career, etc. Much of this group's discussions are centered on David Allen's best selling book, Getting Things Done, and the elements in his simple, but effective system. You may have seen David on the cover of the recent Costco Connection magazine (http://www.costcoconnection.com/connection/200812/
) most Costco members receive. It is a very pragmatic system and you are probably doing many aspects of the system already. This group is intended for individuals at all levels of practicing GTD. From those who have just heard of it and want to find out more to the black belt practitioners. If you are unfamiliar with GTD, this Wikipedia link (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Getting_Things_Done
) gives a pretty decent overview and this link (http://www.davidco.com/what_is_gtd.php) is the official summary. The book is available at virtually any bookstore for about $15 or less.
