The mission of Green Valley Ranch Moms is to build community for Moms, Kids, and Families in GVR. We accomplish this mission by having get togethers, hosting events, doing good deeds, and we even co-host Summerfest at GVR an event attended by thousands. Our group is diverse in many areas, but most of the moms have kids in the younger age brackets. Moms of older kids are always welcome to join as well, they just haven't yet.

 

Many of our members have made friends and created small social groups within the larger group, so there are many events happening that might not appear on our calendar. We have a semi seasonal newsletter full of information helpful in GVR, and a text and email dist. list for when we need something ie, a pack n play for cheap, or have found a really great deal to share with others, ie really great produce at Alpine today.

 

Our group shares resources: Babysitting exchange, Kid Clothing Swap, Information, Couponing.

Caroling at Christmas

Nursing Home Visits

Childrens Hospital Outreach

 

We just have not gotten there yet. Also, we need board members and active moms. Are you the key to getting our group where we want to be? Let us know.
