If you're an unemployed professional and have nothing to do during the day, this group is for you.

Since you can only send out your resume for about two hours every day, there are 22 hours left that can be filled with activities that will expose you to things this great city has to offer.

The aim of this group is to gather other people with free time during the day, and take field trips to things that are free, or free-ish, or where the gain will be greater than the cost of the activity.

These things include: volunteering for fun things! neighborhood tours! Gallery and museum walks! Ice skating! Culinary adventures! Please also feel free to bring your own ideas to the group and lead a daily activity!

There are so many unemployeds from so many different fields out there. If we all get together, the opportunity for the exchange of fresh ideas will abound, and who knows? The next killer app, or recession busting idea might spring forth!

So join up, email me, and let's plan some outings.

Be good!

Lauren
