On June 23-24, 2016, game-based learning professionals and enthusiasts from around the country are gathering at the annual Games for Change Festival (http://gamesforchange.org/festival/). Organized in collaboration with PARSONS SCHOOL OF DESIGN at The New School, the 2016 G4C Festival offers two days of keynotes, panels, workshops, networking events, and arcades, inviting you to explore the latest impact games in three tracks of programming: Civics & Social Impact, Neurogaming & Health, and Games for Learning.
Whether or not you can make it to the G4C Festival, we welcome you to enjoy post-festival drinks and networking at a Happy Hour nearby. Festival goers and Meetup members can meet, make friends, and discuss our industry and the newest impact games.
This is a cash bar event with drink specials for attendees, so RSVP for free today!
NOTE:
If you haven't yet registered for the Festival, regular registration has been extended to Monday, June 20, 11:59pm EST, and passes will not be available for purchase on site at the Festival.
As official partners of Games for Change, we have a discount code offered to our GBLNYC members: $75 off passes (about 20% discount), code: 75gbl.
And we still have $89 passes for students!
Register for Festival Passes here. (https://www.eventbrite.com/e/the-2016-games-for-change-festival-tickets-23185067160)
You don't need to go to the festival to come to the Happy Hour, but it is definitely worth it if you can!
