February Happy Hour With Special Guests

Welcome our February Game Dev Happy Hour in NYC. This month we have a Sean McCracken to show off Epson's Moverio smart glasses at a special pre-happy hour event starting at 5pm. At 7pm we'll be doing the happy hour as usual.

Here is what's going on at this month's Game Developer Happy Hour:

The next-generation Moverio BT-200 smart glasses are designed to change how you experience the world around you. With new and improved features and a more compact size, these innovative smart glasses are setting the new standard in Augmented Reality.

This month, Sean McCracken, AR/VR developer and Moverio expert, will be joining us to talk about his experience in developing for the Moverio.

This discussion will include:

• A review of the BT-200’s hardware and capabilities, especially how it is unique to the emerging AR/VR landscape and the devices available today

• The steps to port your existing Unity applications to the Moverio Apps Marketplace using Sean’s Unity3D plugin, now available on the Unity Asset Store

• Prelaunch Labs will have Moverio BT-200 devices available for demonstration and will discuss the App Challenge currently posted on epsonmoverio2.challengepost.com (http://epsonmoverio2.challengepost.com/).

Starting at 7pm we'll be doing an open bar until the tab runs out so first come first served. Hang out with other local indie devs to network, show off your games and learn about the Amazon platform for game developers. We'll have some giveaways as well and everyone is welcome to stay after the free drinks to continue enjoying the company.
