WarMachine/Hordes Standard League

This will be a "standard" league (full rules are at with the following tweaks:

- 3 games per week limit
- Caster and Battlegroup restrictions lifted after week 3
- make-up games count for points

So if you can only do two games one week, you can do four the next to make up for the missed game.

ENTRY FEE: $10 -OR- buy a battle box.  Been wanting to start up a new faction?  Here's the PERFECT opportunity to get it started and get a bunch of games in right away.  When you buy a battle box, your entry fee is waived.  Pay at the register at Game Theory to get signed up.

Ok, so you get to play a bunch of games.  You already get to do that, so what's the big deal?  Why should you shell out ten bucks to do something you already get to do?

When a player logs his/her third game for a given week, he/she gets a coupon for $5 off a purchase of $60 or more worth of PP stuff.  $5 off a $60 purchase?  Pfft... you can do better online, right?  BUT!  These coupons are CUMULATIVE, so a player who logs the max 18 games over the 6 weeks ends up with a coupon for $30 off, which amounts to 50%.  Suck on that, WarStore!  Miss your three games and you don't get the coupon that week, even if you make up the games in a later week.  Fine Print: Any other discounts, including the 10% "I'm-giving-you-half-my-paycheck-each-week" discount, don't apply.  Sorry.

Each week a player earns 5 or more painting points, their name will get entered into a raffle.  At the end of the league, the raffle winner gets a prize (TBD).

We're looking into doing a kickoff event of some sort, painting days/clinics to help you earn some painting points, and a wrap-up tournament in June.  More details on that to be announced as we get them.
