DunDraCon Board Game Convention

DunDraCon

Sorry for the late notice, but there is a local (Bay Area) board game convention that's happening this weekend.

Conventions are a not only a great opportunity to play games and meet other gamers, but we have found them to be invaluable resources for meeting other designers, networking with game industry professionals, finding rooms full of willing beta-testers, and keeping in touch with the industry trends.

We highly recommend attendance to any aspiring designers and/or gaming enthusiasts. (Or start planing ahead for some of the other local conventions such as Kublacon and Pacificon)

At this point it's too late for pre-registation perks or pricing so at the door costs $30 for a 1-day pass, or $60 for the entire 4-day weekend.

Brian and I will be there all day Saturday and Sunday playing games if you want to find us and say hi.

Aha! Glad I clarified that before making the trip so early. Please do stop by and I'll look out for you as well.

There isn't any official meeting going on. We mostly wanted to remind people of the convention so they could go for their own benefit/enjoyment. However, we would like to meet with anyone else from this group that does attend just to be social and see what they're up to. I see you are at the Porthmeus table Sat and Sun, we'll find you and say hi sometime.

I'm going to try to make it. I have three playtest events on the schedule and would like to FINALLY make one of these meet-ups. Where will the meeting be held?

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
