Big fan of most anything with the exception of 7th seas. Dig low fantasy more than high. Prefer gaming high more than low. Adult life can be tough, and often find it difficult to play long campaign. 4-5 sessions seem to work best IMO, and wouldn't mind trying out different systems. Itching to try some the 40K based RPGs. Big sci-fi mini wargaming and board gaming as well.
I run Warhammer Fantasy RPG, Pathfinder, but would be willing to run any of the 40K based games (Deathwatch, Roguetrader) If folks are patience, I'll run most anything.
My favorite place to play is my man cave. No more than an hour.
Hanging out with cool gamers who understand how to socialize on a relatively normal basis, good story, some meaningful dice rolls, a good pace, a serious game not taken too seriously, not much homework and people feeling comfortable. For me, fun is more important and always recognition that we're just playing games.
Motorcycles. Wife, dogs and chickens. Beekeeping. Cigars, and gin. Movies. Love painting my minis.
A move, a job change, a marriage and a mid-life crisis wedged its way into my hobby and my long time group of gamers. A role player and gamer interested in getting together for some fun, a few beers, an occasional cigar and a lot of die rolling.
Very happy I stepped out of my comfort zone and hooked up with GamePodz. Its been a blast and its just begun. Cheers and thanks to those who arranged this.
