Our group was created to offer the opportunity:
- to learn about the many aspects of digital photography
- to practice our craft
- to create art with our cameras AND
- to have fun doing the above
The photography group is a dynamic, changing organization that works to serve the needs of its members. In that regard we arrange field trips/photo shoots, sponsor photo contests/challenges and share expertise by holding learning events hosted by volunteers and special guests with advanced knowledge in specific areas. The experience level in the group ranges from beginner to pro.
The Photography Group is sponsored in part by The Gateway Center for the Arts. There is no cost to join the Photography Group, however, after a three-month introductory period, our members are requested to become members of the Gateway Center. We benefit by having a great venue in which to hold our meetings and to exhibit our work.
The Gateway Center for the Arts building is located at 880 N. Charles Richard Beall Blvd. (at the intersection of Saxon Blvd and 17-92) in Debary, Florida.
It's our November Meeting! Be there!
