The Bunyip Report is the closest thing to a supernatural news station that exists. Of course, because it operates as a side website by a newspaper owned and run by clueless mundanes, it deliberately puts itself as click-bait style ridiculous stories and implies that it collects amateur videos and pays for exclusive publishing rights. That's only part of the truth, they do post the occasional amateur piece for purposes of cover but most of their stories and videos come from a pool of freelance reporters within The Community. You and your friends are hoping to be able to find something that would get you included in that esteemed pool of supernatural reporters. All you need to do is find some sort of story that the people over at the Darwin Sentinel (which hosts the Bunyip Report on their sight) will be interested in running. So, in a rather odd sort of way, the earthquake and storm this morning is sort of a bit of good news. Certainly there will be something Bunyip worthy happening in the Community today.

The characters are members of The Community within the Divine Blood universe. This means that they either are somehow supernatural or else they know someone who is. The Community is the largest group of supernaturals on Earth and consists almost entirely of civilians of one stripe or another. They aren't fighters, for the most part, and depend on other more militant organizations for law enforcement and defense. Your characters are individuals with dreams of being journalists and the Bunyip Report being the only option besides starting their own youtube channel. While they generally have no issue with their powers and natures, most likely spent more time developing other skills rather than their supernatural abilities. We can talk about concepts in the comments here and I will help with details and stats via email with each participant.

The Divine Blood game is a hybrid of Strands of Fate and Fate Core. Gameplay is almost entirely Fate Core, but the character creation uses the more granular point-buy Ability/Advantage system in Strands of Fate rather than the Skill/Stunt system of Fate Core.

Fate characters work best when you create your own character. I have not made sample characters for this scenario yet however, there is a table of the currently existing playable species (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/180O6HRedIjv1nl5S5h_IrA5mxV-6b1TmZ-mrA_F1U-A/edit?usp=sharing). Any species associated with the Community is easily acceptable.

Pre-generated character templates are available or we can create a character from scratch: https://drive.google.com/drive/u/0/folders/0BzdTJCE5jRRJM0o0aXcxQ3BZSW8

These scenarios are designed with action comedy in mind. The characters may be in over their head but this will largely be in humorous manners. They will be operating under normal Fate style game play. There will be three stories. You do not have to attend all three episodes and if you wish to participate you will have to RSVP for all three episodes separately. The episodes are planned to be live-streamed via G+ Hangouts Live and placed on my youtube channel.
