Gauntlet City Limits - Five Fires

Five Fires is a roleplaying game where you play an artist in traditional hip hop culture, trying to express yourself in a city and world that has criminalized your expression.

The “fires” in the the name refer to the five elements of hip hop:

1. MCing

2. B-Boying (breakdancing)

3. DJing

4. Graffiti Writing

5. Knowledge, Culture, Overstanding

These are five variations of the creative “fire”, and thus where the game gets it name. You play a young artist who gets a chance to burn brightly….will you burn out or shine a light for others to see?

This is for both sessions of Five Fires in November 2016. This game is part of the Gauntlet City Limits series of living campaign games. If you are attending, you'll need to create your own Gauntlet City Neighborhood with the GM, Rich Rogers, beforehand. Any PC you make for a Gauntlet City Limits game will be from your Gauntlet City Neighborhood. Reach out to him over G+ or message him through meetup if you have not done so. No prior experience with the game is necessary. Being able to attend both sessions is ideal, but not required. You must manually RSVP to BOTH sessions; attending one session does not guarantee a spot in the future session.
