Note the time change please everyone. Just needed a little more prep time.

Hi Michael, I see "Day of the Doctor" is airing at 2:50 pm, and again at 7:00 pm. We're obviously going to watch the 2:50 one, right? I'm afraid I can't hang with you all all day, but I definitely don't want to miss the special!

I have to pick my sister up from college for turkey day so I'll be watching this when I get home. No spoilers!!!

What time does the actual special start? I'm volunteering tomorrow so won't be around until after 5 p.m. If it starts earlier then that, I'll change my RSVP.

I don't suppose anyone could give me a ride from Arlington? I am, alas, without either car or Tardis.

    November 22, 2013

    • Kristine

Whoah, wait a minute, people without TARDISes are being allowed into this event? Hmm, not sure how I feel about that...

      November 22, 2013

    Room for one more?

    November 16, 2013

    • Michael D

If anyone decides not to come, I will let you into this event. I can barely fit the number all ready signed up, but it is possible someone will drop out. If this is the case, you are first to join us! Keep watching this site up through Saturday morning! That is my best advice.

Lol, "room for one more" makes me think of the Twilight Zone episode called "22"

I have one ticket to Day of the Doctor on November 23rd, 2:50pm in Fairfax. I work in Greenbelt (NASA), I live in Woodbridge and I teach Mon, and Tues nights in Manassas. If anyone wants a free ticket and can pick it up let me know. Thanks.

Sure, I'll take it! I was gonna call the theatre today to see if they still have any for sale. What's the best way for me to get it from you? My email is [masked] (work is [masked]) if that's easier to correspond.

      November 18, 2013

    • Molly J.

sorry. that's [masked], though you probably figured that out

Full HD BBC America is now in my living room, and ready to be watched. It looks and sounds great! Can't wait to show it off. Michael

Cable company is coming in on Sunday! This will be an event to remember! Don't forget we will get to see some classic Who as well...

Last one I swear. I thought we were gonna watch the mcgann movie, I thought it would be really important given all this is after it. Maybe if there's no time and you don't want to lose anything elde we could have an earlier meetup?

      November 16, 2013

    • Michael D

The list I have has been modified, but that does not mean that I won't be willing to show what everyone else wants to see. I am just choosing the best of each era of Who. The McGann movie will likely be shown. :)

I'll be asking for a $2 fee to pay for the cable, and any food. If you wish to bring food for this event, that would be helpful. Also, we will probably be ordering dinner (pizza or something simple) while we watch our television screen! Can't wait!

    October 24, 2013

Oh boy! I'll have to show The Enemy of the World as it was just found and announced today! What a 50th!

I vote for the most recent episode "Name of the Doctor" to be the Matt Smith episode. (The one with John Hurt "the man who made us yell at our tellies)

So the marathon is at Mike's but who is hosting the 2nd part? Shouldn't we go somewhere that gets BBC America?

    1 · September 1, 2013

Funny you mentioned this. I was planning on having cable for this event... Mark is still planning his event as far as I know. I was hoping to surprise everyone, but oh well...

Geeks want a guarantee that we'll be able to see the special esp since Tennant is in it. ;-) sorry I ruined the surprise.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
