Juliet Oberding is the Co-Founder of Predictably Well (http://www.predictablywell.com/), a San Diego based quantified health company. My role in our startup is all things business and legal, using 20 years experience as a lawyer to navigate the business, intellectual property, privacy and regulatory minefields. Having a chronic disease myself, I actively engage with our customers to make sure that we build the right product to solve their essential problems. I will share lessons from founding a tech startup, taking a non-technical perspective. Our application, the Good Days app, has won several competitions including Finalist in the 2012 CONNECT Most Innovative New Product Award, and the Popular Choice Award Grand Prize in the 2012 San Diego Apps Challenge.

Liz Hedstrom is co-founder and creator of WeddingHappy. WeddingHappy is a wedding app for iPhone that has received over 700 5-star reviews and become one of the most sought-after wedding planning applications since its initial launch in 2011. Liz has been working as a software engineer and web developer since 1996. Prior to creating WeddingHappy, Liz was a Software Engineer for Hewlett Packard and a Web Developer for Intuit, where she worked in Intuit's Pro Tax Group. Liz earned her bachelor's degree in mathematics from New York University. She is a proud INTP who happens to be left-handed and also has the unique skill of knowing how to operate a forklift. She currently resides in Pacific Beach with her husband and co-founder Eric and their rescued pets.

Allison Long Pettine is President of Crescent Ridge Partners Ventures, a venture fund that provides seed capital to early stage startups. She actively invests in entrepreneurs developing disruptive technologies across all multiple to build successful and sustainable companies. Prior to founding Crescent Ridge Partners, Allison was Vice President at Viscogliosi Brothers, a New-York based venture capital company focused on cutting-edge orthopedic medical device technologies. She was previously part of the founding team and Director of Corporate Finance and Strategic Planning at Paradigm Spine, a startup that developed non-fusion spinal implants to treat degenerative and deformity spinal disorders. Allison holds a B.S; B.A, Management Science; Psychology from UC San Diego and an M.B.A from UCLA Anderson School of Management.

Marnie Zoglman

Marnie holds more than 25 years of Information Technology operational experience, and is highly respected as an innovative, connected leader within her field. In her current role, in Qualcomm Internet Systems (QIS) business division, she leads global cross-functional teams in supporting new and existing product development operations that include ITIL v3 and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) best practices. Marnie also spearheads initiatives related to implementing industry standard IT systems operational readiness policies in addition to universal data integrity, security and monitoring practices; all of which are measured against stated business objectives.
Marnie joined Qualcomm in 1999 to work with some of the best Oracle DBAs she had encountered while working previously as a technology consultant for Peoplesoft. For her time at Peoplesoft, she traveled across the United States to install the company’s ERP systems at a wide variety of client sites. In doing so, Marnie gained great exposure to different software implementation models as well as deep domain expertise in operating successfully within a myriad of IT departments in corporate, government and non-profit industries.
Marnie began her technology career while a student at the University-Wisconsin Oshkosh by participating as part of the university’s student staff at the Koehn Institute, a partnership with regional industries seeking computer technology expertise and support as they made transitions to information-based technologies. She earned her project management certificate at UC San Diego in 2006 to combine software operational development best practices with her hands-on Qualcomm technical database background.
Marnie is currently serves on the Entertainment Industry Council (EIC) Advisory Committee as well as is an active member of San Diego – Athena and its Technology SIG committee. She also recently co-founded, with her IT women team members, Qualcomm’s Qfinity - Women in IT STEM organization, along with being a member of QWISE (Qualcomm Women in Science and Engineering)
