Are you a single geek? Do you want to meet someone but you can't because you like sitting on your couch gaming, blogging, watching kung-fu movies, reading comic books, or playing with your cat? I understand. I too, want to meet someone that gets my jokes - because they're freakin' funny.

If you are wondering whether or not you constitute as a geek, ask yourself this - Is there something that excites you so much that you can lose yourself in that thing for hours; something that once you open your mouth on this topic you can't seem to shut up?  Then you, my friend, are a geek (at least on that subject, right?).  Be proud, embrace your geekdom, we all have it. 

Geek Spot is a great place to meet other people with your same interests, whether you are looking for Ms. or Mr. Right, or just looking to make some new friends. 

We will have at least one monthly activity, and if it sounds interesting to you, please join us!  Also, if you have ideas for activities we can do as a group, I invite you to post it as an Idea or Discussion - Geek subgroups are totally welcome!
