Each performer has 9-minutes to amaze you about an aspect of science in any way, shape or form that they like.
The night runs in two halves, each an hour long. There’s a 20 minute intermission and finishes by 10pm, to give us an hour of picking each other’s brains over beer and to form new plans and partnerships before closing time. They might:
Tell us about their new discovery Show a film they just made Try out a new demo Practice a new science comedy set Play their new song about protons Tell us what they’ve been up tor Experiment on the crowd Or anything else! MEET UP DETAILS:
I'll be in the pub from 6.15pm.
The function room doors open at 7pm and it can get busy early, so arrive by 7pm if you want to sit/with the group.
The show starts at 7.30pm.
COST: £5 donation to charity collection
No-one gets paid. All they ask you have a great time and contribute a recommended donation of £5 per person to our charity collection - however, the higher the donation, the more applause you will receive as you walk in. VENUE: Wilmington Arms http://goo.gl/214FG
The infamous and cosy, Wilmington Arms is opposite Exmouth Market, a 3-min bus ride from Holborn, Kings Cross, Angel or City. Plenty stop right outside @ Tysoe Street (Stop CH) or on Rosebery Ave & Farringdon Road.
