We are an eccentric group that appreciate the art of silliness and the science of adventure. If you are a little bit quirky & a lot bit fun, this group is for you...

"Geek Love" is the title of a fictional tale following a family of circus freaks. The name captures the eclectic spirit of our group's activities, ranging from:

  • Themed dinners ...Rock your 50s poodle skirts & letter jackets for a retro BBQ; Pig out on pork cuisine at Geek Love's annual Bacon Bash
  • Happy hours with a twist ...Don your flapper / gangster gear for cocktails & crime at Bourbon & Branch; Hula your way to a lei at the tiki luau
  • Board games ...often in character: play Clue dressed as Professor Plum or Miss Scarlet; Bring props from your favourite country when playing Axis & Allies
  • Play in general ...Spend an afternoon blowing giant bubbles, Bouncing on space hoppers around the city, or playing Twister in the park
  • Anything involving costumes ...everyone knows bowling is more fun when you're dressed like a Pirate!
  • Wearing our smarty-pants ...Attend Nerd Nite with fellow nerds; Experiment with chemistry sets; Ponder equations over blueberry pie on March 14th
  • Flash mobs in San Francisco ...think Pillow Fight and Zombie Prom. Better yet, let's create our own!
  • Weekend excursions ...Glass Beach, Mystery House, skiing in Tahoe, roadtrips to see the Largest Rubberband Ball, etc.

With at least one event every week, there's hyperbolically endless opportunities to make new friends & have (almost) too much fun. JOIN US to get in on the wild rompus!
